The Magic of Communication
The Magic of Communication is a six-session seminar with Paul Beckow for couples who wish to discover what is happening with their communication together and introduce themselves to, and begin to implement, a senior set of practices and skills.
In this course we will discover the major causes of mischief and dissatisfaction in communication. Our work together will provide you as a couple with the keys to having the magic and connection that communication is really meant to deliver.
This course provides particpants the opportunity to have communications together that are unique, fresh and moving. Couples will leave this course together having access to these skills at any time.
The Magic of Communication will teach you to:
practice clear clean effective expressions of your wants and needs that do no harm to the other
identify the traps and pitfalls of all communications and efforts to adress conflict
discover the power of pure listening as "not solving or fixing" something.
listen to your partner when they are expressing upset
explore the 4 kinds of conversations that create real personal connection
together
resolve differences peacefully
The Magic of Communication will provide participants with real and practical practice at the evening sessions. These exercises will create new insights, new understandings and breakthroughs in the skills of communication. The work/play we will do together will place you at a new, aware and satisfying level of communication.
Come and Join us! The course will take place on six consecutive Wednesday evenings beginning on April 7th from 7:00 pm till 9:30 pm.
